We
are pleased to offer several new paintings
by Jeanne Dupre:

Jeanne
Dupre is primarily a watercolor landscape
artist. Inspired by her daily walks
and the ever changing seasons of central
New York, she has been painting professionally
for about 20 years. Jeanne has been
drawn to the Adirondacks since she
first honeymooned in Blue Mountain
Lake many years ago.
Since
then, her and her husband Dick have
vacationed in the Indian Lake area
while their children were growing up
and more recently Lake Placid, Keene
Valley, Long Lake, and Blue Mountain
Lake.

For
the past 5 years she has had the
pleasure to have been a resident
artist at The Lake Placid Lodge for
2 weeks each summer, painting on
location and talking to guests.
|
|
For
the past 4 years Jeanne has been involved
with the Adirondack Museum. She have
sold her prints in the gift shops at
Blue Mountain and their Lake Placid
store.
She has
demonstrated watercolor painting in
both stores, once again enjoying meeting
new people and answering questions.
This year and last they have invited
Jeanne to participate in their Rustic
Fair on the museum grounds in September.

work can be seen at Abbott's
Lake Country Studio in Central
Square, Unique Woodworks in Cleveland,
Gallery North in Old Forge, the Lake
Placid Lodge and The Point.

perspective, and lifelike form is outstanding.
